Photography Policy



Safeguarding Policy. The club has adopted the Safeguarding and protecting children policy of its National Governing Body, namely British Triathlon (BTF). For more information see the Safeguarding section of the BTF website.

Diversity and Inclusion Policy. The club respects the rights, dignity and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of their sport, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy & maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. To this end the club has developed the following Diversity & Inclusion Policy .

Anti-Bullying Policy. The club is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment in which all individuals can take part in triathlon, enabling both training and competing to be undertaken in relaxed and secure surroundings. The Club expects any individual who is aware of bullying occurring to immediately inform a club officer.

Whistleblowing Policy. If you think something’s wrong, say so – preferably to the club coach, volunteer or committee member who is the easiest to contact. The club policy is that you will be listened to with respect and that all concerns will be taken seriously; all reasonable steps will be taken to treat what you say confidentially if so wanted. Supporting clean sport. All athletes have the right to compete in sport knowing that they, and their competitors, are clean. British Triathlon are dedicated to the clean sport mission as indicated by their Clean Sport Commitment Statement. More information can be found on British Triathlon's Supporting Clean Sport pages. The club fully supports this program and in particular expects its members to play, train and compete, and its coaches and volunteers to perform their role, both in line with the spirit of sport and the Anti-Doping Rules.

Medical conditions and injuries. The club and members should work together to ensure club sessions are safe for the member to participate in. The club will do its best to ensure the safety of all but members should ensure those coaching any session they attend has been informed about any significant conditions and/or injuries.

Social media guidelines. These apply to all club coaches, volunteers, and members. Social media provides the club with a zero cost means of disseminating information but it is important that the club and its members use social media responsibly and safely. All club coaches, volunteers and members are responsible for ensuring social media is used appropriately.
