Coquet Sprint Triathlon
Saturday 16th August 2025
We are delighted to announce that we are running our Sprint Triathlon and Aquabike event again this year held at the Coquet Yacht Club, Amble.
With a start time of 08.00 the event will commence with a 750m swim up the River Coquet, sighting on Warkworth Castle, before turning and heading back to the yacht club. The bike ride is a 20km out and back route and for those entering the triathlon you finish with a 5km, 2 lap run over mixed terrain. There will be chip timing, finisher’s medals and trophies for the overall top 3 in the open and female categories. These will be presented in the Yacht Club where you will also be able to help yourselves to tea/coffee and cake.
Please note that for safety reasons the swim will be wetsuit compulsory.
We are offering an Early Bird price for those wanting to get their race diary organised for the season; £45.00 per person if booked before 31st May 2025 and £50.00 per person there after.
