Welcome to Aarhus Rugby Klub senior men's team!
You never thought rugby was a thing in Denmark? You might have never heard about rugby before? Then, you came to the right place!
Aarhus Rugby Klub is one of oldest and more titled club in Denmark! The men's team first ever title was in 1994 against RK Speed. This was followed by titles in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2017. In addition, we won the national 7s championship in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2014. Last season, our men's team finished 4th of the Superliga and got a bronze medal in the annual DM Sevens in Aalborg.
We are a team from various background and experiences. Our team consists of a mixture between Danes and international people from all over the world (France, England, Ireland, Argentina, Romania, Netherlands, South Africa and so on...). Our players have different experience levels from the exchange student that wanted to try something new and never touched a ball before, to seasoned players.
Our spirit is that rugby is a sport for everyone, regardless of experience, origins or fitness level. Everyone has a role in the team, short, tall, quick, strong as long as you are fueled by team spirit!
Practical information:
We train every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:30 to 20:30. During the summer holidays (1st of July to 15th of August) and winter break (December-January) no official training is happening.
Winter training information:
During the winter, we are doing joined training with Odder Rugby Klub every Wednesday in Odder at 19:30. If you are interested in joining them, please contact us or Odder Rugby Klub beforehand.

What do you need?
- A pair a football shoes (with plastic or metal studs)
- Resistant training clothes (you might get dirty!)
- Mouth guard (necessary only if you want to practice tacking, can be found in your local sport shop)
- Good vibes!
