Saturday is a rugby day - And what a day!
ARK Park hosted the 4th leg of the DRU 7s Tournament. A day blessed with lots of sunshine, sassy tackles, and good rugby. A great thank you to everyone who showed up to support ARK Ladies as well as to enjoy a cold beer in the fantastic weather.
During the tournament, ARK Ladies faced Rugbyklubben Speed, CSR/Nanok Rugby Club, and Aalborg Rugbyklub Lynet.
Mixing great teamwork, hard tackles, and sassy tries, ARK Ladies ended in 5th place.
Congratulations to our very own Linea Bendtsen who made Player of the Day and got to bring home our mascot, Bradley Coops.
The results of the day:
ARK vs Speed: 5-34
CSR vs ARK: 53-0
Aalborg vs ARK: 0-29

Have you also spent the summer indoor pinned to the television watching the Olympics? Well of course you have!
I expect you to agree with me that the most important discipline was 7s rugby. Luckily, TV2 Østjylland thought so as well. On Monday August 19th, two of their reporters stopped by ARK Park to film and interview a few players from the women's team.
Watch out for familiar faces next time you turn on the news.

Women's Tournament at ARK Park
Are you ready for it?
4th leg of the DRU 7s tournament will be held at our very own ARK Park in The City of Smiles.
Come and support ARK Ladies as they face opponents from Aalborg, Odense, and Copenhagen.
In return, we promise a day full of exciting matches, superb rugby, and of course lots of glitter. As usual, the bar will be open and stocked with beers, sodas, and if you are lucky, breezers ;)
The tournament will be held on September 7th from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Fall Season Starts August 6th
Best news this month!!
The women's team starts the new season already on August 6th. The team's trainers, Louis and Lucy, have lots of new drills and fun exercises for the players.
Speaking of the players, they have waited all summer long to get back on the pitch to play some rugby.
