London Lions Kabaddi Team

London Lions is the only team representing Southern England. We have players coming from all across London ranging from university students and kabaddi enthusiasts who travel to Singh Sabha London East (SSLE) weekly and train with the younger homegrown players.

It was originally founded under Singh Sabha London east Kabaddi club in 1965 by Major Singh Basi. Based at Barking and Seven Kings gurdwara in East London, it has produced numerous champions in various sports

SSLE Kabaddi Club (London Lions) has been running for over 10 years and has 100s of kids train and learn. From professional boxers, to MMA fighters, swimmers and now National style Kabaddi players, the club is growing from strength to strength and has no intention of slowing down! The club coaches self fund the club and there is no charge for anyone who wishes to train.
