The U13 Black team plays Sunday morning in the Coventry League.

The most important thing is that the children have fun and enjoy themselves, whilst developing their footballing skills and love for the game.

Match Report

Im sure the lads are gutted after giving so much in that game, We were creating chances for fun, We were 2 nil up and in complete control in the 1st half, conceding the goal just before half time is where the game changed, our heads went down and we were a bit shell shocked for the first 10 mins in 2nd half and conceded another 2 goals, but the guys battled back amazingly, we had more of the possesion created more of the chances and they got what they deserved a equaliser, with a great ball in from vee and a great headed from Nathaniel, We deserved to win that game but I would have took a draw, but they nicked a controversial goal with last kick of the game these cov teams are going to be physical and at times nasty. We got a little emotional at time which affected our game, but we're a new team and we're learn how to deal with this better along the way, I include myself in that too, well done to Archie he was brilliant at left back, I think he's played in every position apart from striker already since I took the team on, only his 2nd season playing out so lots more to come from him. Arian what a brave warrior he is, he could of come off a couple of times with injury but dusted himself down and got back into init. It's going to be a long hard season with lots of ups and downs, but I still believe we've got a squad that can push for promotion, the team today is probs favourite for promotion as they only missed out by one point last season, so no shae in losing to them.

Leamington Juniors U13 Black here is the man on the match on sunday against Camp Hill, had a good game well deserved Man of the Match you played left back for the first time ever

Coach - Did you enjoy left back?

Archie - Yep

Coach - so you got an assist as well, tell us about the assist on goal?

Archie -I got the ball, I ran and i passed it to Nathaniel and he score.

Coach - Yeah so Nathaniel scored some goals for the team, looke like you got a good team going forwarddo you think?

Archie - Yeah

Coach - without a doubt, Ok you look enjoying the season so far and played in alot of positions, have you got a favourite position?

Archie - Erm no

Coach - Ok thats nice for the team you will play anywhere for the team, Ok Archie well done on your Man of the Match, there it is pride and place onto of the shelf and hopefully alot more Man of the Matches.
