Brakes U11 Black Season 24-25

The U11 Black team plays Saturday mornings in the Mid-Warwickshire League. 

The most important thing is that the children have fun and enjoy themselves, whilst developing their footballing skills and love for the game.

U11 Black v Warwick Junior Colts

Just wanted to say fantastic to be off to a win, first game of the season, but more than the win it was the lads attitude that really impressed me today. Dug deep, celebrated with each other, lots of encouraging of each other on and off the pitch.

U11 Black W - L Claverdon

Claverdon started the better of the two teams with more possession, more composure on the ball and nearly made Juniors pay for sloppy clearances. Thankfully we rode our luck somewhat for the first ten minutes and then started to get our foot in the game. The game was crying out for a goal and some good work down the right hand side opened up a chance that was taken well by Zac M. Went into half time with a 1-0 advantage but had certainly been the second best team.

Second half saw Juniors up their performance and started the better of two teams playing better football and dominating midfield. However a goal somewhat against the run of play for Claverdon gave them some much needed confidence. A close game was edged by a wonderful strike from Ekam taking advantage of a misplaced GK clearance and finished from outside of the box lobbing the GK with a first time strike. Juniors had just about enough to see out the game and secure another victory.
